Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Synastry Compass handles information when operating its website and its human-guided research tools.

Information we process

The public website does not require an account and does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. When permitted platform features are used, Synastry Compass may process public profile and public content data made available through official Meta APIs, including identifiers, usernames, text, timestamps, and engagement information returned by those APIs.

How information is used

Information is used to identify relevant public discussions, organize research, evaluate trends, prepare internal reports, and draft suggestions for human review. Synastry Compass does not use platform data for automated publishing, commenting, liking, following, direct messaging, scraping, or advertising profiles.

Legal basis and choices

Where applicable, processing is based on legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, consent, or another lawful basis. People may request access, correction, or deletion where those rights apply.

Sharing and sale

Synastry Compass does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers only as needed to operate the project, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or respond to valid legal requests.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Meta platform data

Access to Threads or other Meta platform data is limited to approved permissions and official APIs. In Development mode, access may be restricted to the app owner, developers, and testers. Use of information received from Meta APIs is also governed by applicable Meta Platform Terms and policies.

Children

Synastry Compass is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the project evolves. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
